Dan Martinelli is a singer and songwriter who embraces multiple genres and calls many places home, including the Front Range of Colorado and the shores of New England. While growing up in Pennsylvania and Ohio he taught himself guitar by studying and mastering songs by his favorite folk and indie artists. This cultivated an appreciation for great songwriting that inspired him to write and perform his own music. Melodically tense, lyrically reflective, and secretly hopeful, Dan's songs confront life in its dark corners, seeking to inspire the courage to face the difficult questions with an open mind.
Dan's debut EP, "All The Smoke Is Gone", was released in November of 2015. The songs deal with issues of loss and disillusionment, but always with an eye toward the future. Dan can be found performing in Denver and around the Northeast and is currently working on writing material for his next album.
The debut EP, "All the Smoke Is Gone", is out now! Listen below or visit my BandCamp site for lyrics and additional info.
